Quinoa is an Incan grain grown in the Andes Mountains of South America. Classified as a “Superfood”, it is gluten-free, one of the most protein-rich foods we can eat and one of the few plant foods that contain all nine essential amino acids. It is high in dietary fibre, magnesium, phosphorus, potassium, calcium, iron, copper and zinc.
